Description

In front of you is an ominous survival horror from the Icy North Games studio, a toy called «Dread of Laughter» in which players are invited to escape from a dangerous maniac throughout the whole storyline. Moreover, she was also the target of a dangerous maniac killer. And this is the main highlight of the game. Maniac will hunt for a girl, scare her scattered around the remains of bodies and severed limbs, create an atmosphere of eternal fear and scare her in all possible ways. The task of the player is to save and survive. But to survive in such conditions is not so easy, especially since the developers do not give the player any weapons or any abilities there.

About This Game

All that you have is the ability to move freely around the house, set traps, divert the attention of the maniac from yourself in various cunning ways, and the fear that the girl herself overwhelms. It is in such a gloomy atmosphere that you will have to survive. At the moment, unfortunately, little is known about the gameplay itself. But one thing is certain: the game can be completed in several ways and in several different modes. And another equally important point is that the game is based on the improved Unreal Engine 4, which means that the game will boast realistic graphics and a truly innovative gameplay. Blood, gloom, darkness, a maniac, always appearing out of nowhere and all the time trying to get the girl’s life, limbs of victims scattered around the house, the voiceovers and plot from which she shakes to the tremor — all this will allow you to feel the atmosphere and get maximum pleasure.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for PLAZA

  1. Mount the .iso image in a virtual drive (Daemon Tools, PowerISO, or the built-in Windows mounting) — or burn it to a blank disc if you prefer the real thing.

  2. Run setup.exe from the mounted drive and install the game like any ordinary Windows program.

  3. Copy everything from the PLAZA folder on the disc into the folder where the game was installed, replacing files when asked.

  4. Launch the game from the desktop shortcut or the installed .exe — always with Run as administrator.

    Patch Notes - What\'s this!? What\'s that!- Outdoor area is a lot bigger, few new areas to explore- No more constant WHATS THIS? WHATS THAT? audio cues- RNG Keyspawns scrapped, there are still few randomly generated mechanics but the beginning keys are now in one spot. This doesn\'t mean that the rooms where the key won\'t be are not important- We made a safehouse with crafting possibilities coming in future- Killer run speed lowered by 25-35%. Makes it possible to run away from them outside- More story elements- More encounters- Every bug seen from livestreams and feedback is fixed, this also includes animations- Footsteps now have their corresponding sounds depending on the surface
