Game trailer: Commandos Origins Shadows over Crete

Description
Commandos Origins Shadows over Crete is a masterclass in tactical tension, returning the beloved franchise to its hardcore RTS roots with modern polish. Claymore Game Studios perfectly captures the core fantasy of leading a small, elite unit deep behind enemy lines, where brute force is suicide and cleverness is your only weapon. This prequel focuses on the formative missions of the team, specifically their desperate operations during the Battle of Crete. The level design is intricate and punishing, offering multiple avenues of approach but demanding absolute precision in execution.
The gameplay centers on the unique interplay between your specialists. You must coordinate the Green Beret's brute strength with the Marine's aquatic stealth and the Sniper's long range dominance. The unique mechanic is the Synchronized Action Mode. This allows you to queue up specific orders for multiple commandos like a simultaneous takedown and distraction and execute them with a single button press. Mastering this timing is essential for clearing complex patrol routes without raising the alarm. Progression feels rewarding as you unlock new, historically authentic gadgets that open up fresh tactical possibilities.
Kalypso Media has ensured the latest version of the game runs smoothly, with refined UI scaling for modern resolutions. For veterans of the genre who crave a cerebral, high stakes challenge where every save game feels like a tactical victory, you should absolutely download the game and start your mission.

Update v1.5.1:Fixes[Shadows over Crete] Fixed an issue where some DLC achievements (“Ripe for Pickingâ€, “Ghost of Creteâ€, “Island vacation†and “Crete Veteransâ€) did not always unlock correctly on certain platforms including Steam and Xbox. Fixed an issue where beating mission 1 of the base game (Operation Daybreak) did not always count for achievement progress until all 14 base game missions were finished and any mission was finished a second time. This affected multiple achievements, including “Knock Them Out With Kindness†and “Shadow Tacticsâ€. Fixed a rare crash related to the view cone settings.
