Way of the Hunter 2

Состоялся полноценный релиз Way of the Hunter 2 — охотничьего симулятора от студии Nine Rocks Games при поддержке THQ Nordic. Версия 1.0 стала доступна на PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S и ПК, где проект с марта находился в раннем доступе.

Игрокам предстоит исследовать обширные охотничьи угодья Северной Америки и Африки. В канадском регионе Новая Лаврентия можно встретить лосей, вапити, медведей, бизонов, кроликов, индеек и различных птиц, тогда как заповедник Килимая предлагает более опасную африканскую фауну, включая львов, бегемотов, капских буйволов и нильских крокодилов. Помогать в выслеживании добычи способен обучаемый охотничий пёс, который ищет следы животных, обнаруживает кровь и помогает находить раненую дичь.

Way of the Hunter 2 создавалась как максимально достоверный и продвинутый симулятор охоты. В распоряжении игроков более 20 видов огнестрельного оружия различных калибров, луки и арбалеты, оптические прицелы, приборы ночного видения и тепловизионное оборудование от реальных производителей. Улучшенная система Shot Review позволяет анализировать траекторию, скорость и угол полёта пули, а также точку попадания. Кроме того, игроки могут управлять популяциями животных, развивать охотничий домик и выставлять в нём полученные трофеи.

Ранее игра появилась в раннем доступе Steam 26 марта и на протяжении последующих месяцев дорабатывалась с учётом отзывов сообщества. Для участников раннего доступа и оформивших предзаказ также был подготовлен набор The Heirloom Pack с гравированной винтовкой калибра .243 Win, соответствующим прицелом, современной винтовкой .270 Win и бронзовой статуей лося.

Different ammunition types offer different balances of penetration and cavity size, allowing you to adapt to the animal, the situation, and the shot you need to make. Whether you want to cover a wider range of species or fine-tune your setup for more precise shot placement, choosing the right ammo can make all the difference.

The Ammo change system has been tested and refined on the Experimental Branch first, based on your feedback - thanks to everyone who helped shape it along the way!

HOW TO USE AMMO CHANGE IN THE GAME:

1. Access the Shop from the laptop in your lodge or from the vicinity menu. Buy the ammo you want to bring with you. Note that:

2. You can carry 2 sets of ammo if you have no backpack, 4 with the default backpack, and 6 with the big backpack.

3. Each weapon has one ammo type that is default and free. Alternate ammo types are paid.

4. Double-check that you are bringing ammo compatible with the weapons you want to bring!

Access the storage and select the rifles/shotguns you want to bring with you. (Bows and arrows do not yet have alternate ammo - these will be added after full release).

Add your ammo to your ammo slots. You can fill multiple slots with the same ammo type.

Equip the ammo to your rifles.

Due to the upcoming Way of the Hunter 2 release, we won't need the Experimental Branch for a while, so we might be closing it for now. Thank you to everyone who jumped in to playtest new features and share feedback there, it's made a real difference. We'll give you at least 24h notice before we do, so you'll have time to wrap up, archive saves, or do anything else you need there first.
