Description
Starminer is a space strategy game where you build a mining empire from scratch. You design ships from modular blocks, send a fleet to asteroids, refine the ore, and sell it to traders. The physics are realistic maneuvering hundred-ton platforms between boulders is a real joy. The more you work, the more visible you become. Your fleet's heat signature grows as your output increases, and sooner or later, this will attract the attention of aliens. You'll have to build combat ships and defensive platforms otherwise, your fortune will be quickly snatched away. The choice of tactics is yours: swarm small, maneuverable vessels or invest in a single, massive station with serious firepower. Technology also advances new modules, tools, and gates to new sectors are unlocked. Campaign, survival, and sandbox modes are available, so you can choose your pace.
