Nine hundred hidden cats are waiting in Nekopedia Find Her Tail, a casual anime game from developer and publisher Hunny Bunny Studio that mixes hidden object searching with visual novel conversations. The guides on this quest are neko girls, and they have their own stories to tell.

The search takes the player through cozy and colorful places. Quiet old streets, sunny eastern markets, neon lit cities, and peaceful corners of nature all hide their share of cats. Cats hide on shelves, behind corners, and in plain sight, and finding them is a matter of patience and sharp eyes. Every location is wide and detailed, and every visit is a new round of careful looking.

Between searches, the Nekopedia itself becomes the second game. The player reads its pages, talks with the girls, and learns about their personalities and the cat breeds they belong to. The encyclopedia fills up as the player progresses, and every new entry marks both a found cat and a small piece of the world's lore. Step by step, each character opens up, and the story may show more than expected.

The presentation carries real care. Characters are brought to life with Live2D animation, lip sync, and character voices performed in Japanese. The locations use wide formats that give the scenes room to breathe, and the art keeps the colors soft and the scenes pleasant to stay in.
