Sea of Thieves — all of us though approximately, but we know, that the life of the pirate represents. Robbery and seizure of foreign ships, the eternal sea on the horizon, swearing, girls in taverns and, of course, rum, where without it. In many games we have all seen it somehow, but unlike the rest, Sea of Thieves gives a unique experience in the field of teamwork. And it’s not just about digging up the treasure together, but also about real actions in the team. Someone will take on the role of captain, and the rest will perform the work of the sailors lower and raise the anchor, change the direction of the sail and ring the bell at the approach of someone else’s ship.

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
