Kings Do Not Fall puts you in the bloodied armor of a betrayed monarch who refuses to stay dead, carving a path of vengeance through a kingdom that turned against you. Developed and published by HYPERDEVBOX JAPAN for release in 2026, this action hack and slash game delivers relentless combat across a shattered fantasy realm. You wake in a mass grave, your crown stolen and your army scattered. But a king does not die so easily. Your blade remembers its purpose, and your enemies will learn why thrones are not taken, they are earned in blood. The latest version of the game introduces a royal rage meter that builds as you chain kills, unleashing devastating screen clearing attacks when full.
The hack and slash combat is fluid and punishing, with light and heavy attacks that combo into brutal finishers. You unlock new royal abilities as you progress, from teleporting slashes to ground pounds that shatter enemy formations.
